“ Visiting Walden's when I come home to visit always brings up such nostalgic feelings. It's a beautiful coffee shop both inside and out. I have great memories of live amateur music and poetry readings; I hope that hasn't changed much. The seating inside is warm and inviting with everything from couches, counters, and tables. The food portions are large and tasty with a decent menu amount from which to select. Parking can get tight, especially when busy. ”
“ I got the breakfast burrito and iced vanilla chai. Both were super tasty and fresh. Can't wait to come back ”
“ This old house turned coffee house is one of a kind. Its charming sitting areas and bright interior makes this a perfect place to meet with friends or to work from. There is a good amount of seating inside. The staff is usually friendly and the food and coffee drinks are always amazing! I tried the orange scone and cinnamon roll too which were fantastic. I frequent often. And I recommend that you slide through for a visit. Best coffee shop in the hood. They have cool merch and sell coffee beans too. Get cozy. Stop in. ”
“ Wonderful iced mocha and breakfast sandwich! Cozy spot to hang out and get some reading done. Friendly easygoing service! ”
“ My husband and I had breakfast here once. I loved the ambiance of this restored historic house. I had a latte and my husband had coffee; both were good. We shared a McWalden breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin) and a stale coffee cake. I would have rated the place a 5 except for the stale coffee cake. ”
“ i had time to kill before an event at wingfield park & i desperately needed some coffee, so i found walden's nearby! it's very homey and feels like you're coming in to a friend's house to grab breakfast. the barista was nice about it when i forgot to order my coffee iced. i ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte and enjoyed it. ”
“ The food was amazing! The breakfast burrito was huge! Try it super :) I requested the eggs to be over easy or to "get yolked" and there was a $1 up-charge, but I think it was worth it. Camille, our barista, was very helpful with explaining the food and had great coffee recommendations. The place was had a homey feel and was very cozy. It was overall a great experience! ”
“ Hillary was very friendly and helpful. We were served quickly and she told us about the Walden coffee options. She was also helpful about ingredients in their burritos and pastries, since I am unable to have any soy products. She even called the owner to find out, I really appreciated this. Thank you Hillary! They have pastries and breakfast options. Quick service for a Saturday morning! ”
“ Ordered to go- marshmallow almond milk latte and breakfast burrito. The marshmallow flavor was too sweet for me but the espresso was good. Burrito came with salsa and was packed with potatoes, eggs and cheese. Good food, good espresso, nice people and lots of seating area. I was able to park in the front which was convenient. ”
